Ofsted Statutory Information Summary

About Ofsted

Ofsted inspects primary schools to ensure quality education and care, and parents are crucial to this process through Ofsted Parent View, an online survey where you share feedback anytime on your child's safety, happiness, behaviour, and support for learning, which helps inspectors decide when and what to inspect, providing a vital parent voice in school evaluation. Inspectors look at how well schools teach the curriculum and develop children's knowledge, aiming for excellence in all areas.

Ofsted Parent View

Ofsted have changed the way they carry out their inspections and what they are inspecting on. Please see the below guide for parents:

Ofsted Report and Inspection Dashboard

Ofsted Inspection 2022

This was an ungraded inspection which was carried out under section 8 of the Education Act 2005.  Ofsted do not give graded judgements on an ungraded inspection.

We are pleased to announce that St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary Academy remains a good school.

The opening paragraph says it all:

Pupils are very proud of their warm and welcoming school. They are happy and enjoy learning. The relationships between pupils and adults are respectful and caring, which helps pupils to feel valued and safe.

However, please take the time to read the whole report below, as it is incredibly positive. This certainly reflects our whole school community and shows we are constantly improving and striving for the best.
