Spellings and Times Tables - Sycamore
Spelling tests take place every Monday morning, accompanied by a times tables and division test.

Monday, 14th December
The next spelling test will take place the first day back after Christmas break. It will be a large spelling test, consisting of the entire set of Year 5 common exception words (located at the bottom of this page as an attachment), which will help to identify which words are proving most difficult for children to spell. Please practise them over the break, as this will be your only homework during this time.

The spelling test when children return after the half term break will be a collection of Common Exception Words chosen at random from the list attached below. Please take a few moments to go over the list, and practise some of the words that you find especially tricky. We will do the spelling test on the Tuesday, 3rd November, as Monday is an INSET day, and children aren't at school.
