A positive score means pupils on average do better at Key stage 2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally. Scoring is centred on 0; with most schools within a range of minus 5 and plus 5.
Our progress in Reading, and Mathematics in 2023 was not significantly different from the National Average. Our progress in writing was well above average in 2023.

Average Scaled Score Per Pupil
Each child receives an average scaled score in both reading and maths.
120 – This is the highest score a child can get in the KS2 SATs.
101-119 – Any score above 100 (including 120) means that a child has exceeded the expected standard in the test.
100 – This is the expected standard for children.
80-99 – Any child that is awarded a scaled score of 99 or below has not met the expected standard in their KS2 SATs test.
