Maths: To learn how to form and solve one-step equations.

Recap some of the learning points from yesterday.

Open the maths document attached to the blog and complete the questions in your book.

English: To learn good debating skills.

Open the powerpoint (English- debate) attached to the blog and read through the information from each slide.

2020 has been an unprecedented year, discuss with a grown-up. What do they think?Note some key points in your book, you might want to use them later. I think that 1918 was an unmatched year with the Spanish Influenza when over twenty million people died. The difference is, I did not experience this first-hand, I read about it.

List some facts and opinion on the topic. This should be done in your book.

RE: To understand what is expected of Christians.

Read the text attached in the document (RE) below

What are your views on the following topic.

Caring for those in need, is the responsibility of Christians.

Write your views in your book. Are there facts from the text that you could use to argue your point of view? Write them down. Refer to the story in the powerpoint (Good Samaritan)  attached to the blog

Now, use the skills gained from your English lesson to start writing your debate. This can be edited next week.

Continue with your transition booklet.
