LO: Converting decimals to fractions
It is possible to convert decimals into fractions very easily, as long as we think about writing fractions with a denominator of 100. For example, 0.45 can be converted to 45/100.
Complete the attached worksheet which will help you practise this. On the 3-star section, some numbers with decimals are above 1. How will you write these as fractions? Can you simplify any of the fractions that you have created?
You can check your answers using the answer sheet at the end.
Reading Comprehension Activity
Complete the attached reading comprehension activity. Be sure to think about what each question is asking, and to determine what type of question it is.
Please complete ONLY the 'Phone Trouble' questions - there is no need to read the other two texts.
