That’s right 4! 2 + 2 = 4 or we can say double 2 is 4. RE Being Sorry Think about the stories of Levi and Zacchaeus. Do you think they found it easy to change their ways and to be sorry? It is not easy to do this by ourselves, but God is there to help us, just as Jesus helped Levi and Zacchaeus. Isaiah wrote about God’s forgiveness. He makes it clear what good choices we need to make to be kind and make ourselves and others happy. Read his words from the PowerPoint. The words in red show all the ways Isaiah says we can be good and make the right choices. Talk through these questions with your adult. Q What is God’s promise? Q How do you think people feel when they hear Isaiah’s words? Q What kind things does Isaiah suggest that we do? Q Can you think of any other kind things to do? Q What would the world be like if everyone followed Isaiah’s advice? Download the candle template. Cut it out and paste it in your book. Can you write down all the words that will show how you can be a ‘light that shines’. You can write your words in fancy letters like those in slide 2 on the PowerPoint. Use lots of different colours to write your words. |
