Good Morning Acorns,

Happy New Year!  I hope you had a lovely Christmas with your family and you're ready for a new year of learning.  

Today we will be going on a dinosaur adventure!  Share the Acorn Daily Planner with your grown-up and find out which exciting activities we will be doing today.  I have attached some extra resources to help you at home with your learning.  In maths, I have some number cards for you to use but if you would prefer to use your own that is absolutely fine.  You may want to get creative and make your own number cards.  

Please have lots of fun at home by completing each activity.  Work hard and remember to say thank you to your grown-up for helping you at home with your learning.

Parents/Carers, please work through the Acorn Daily Planner with your child.  It is really important for your child to continue their learning.  If your child struggles to complete a task, please don't worry.  Allow your child to have a break and then try again later.  I would like everyone to feel positive and happy about their child's learning.  Together we will make sure your child has a great start to the year.
