St Peter and St Paul's

St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary Academy

Well done Year 3, you have made it all the way through to Friday – you should feel proud of yourselves (and so should your adults for supporting you along the way!). I hope you enjoy today, but continue your fantastic focus and then you can relax over the weekend (By the way - Audible have made all of their children’s audiobooks free while schools are closed. See if you can discover a new book to listen to -  https://stories.audible.com/start-listen). Today’s topics are reading skills – understanding inference; maths – a multiplication quiz and a little Times Tables Rock Stars; Art – take your time on this one but the end result is ace! and French – another chance to show off your linguistic ability – Have fun!

Reading skills

Today, I want you to practise using your inference skills. Inference is where you make sensible guesses about what is happening and why (like a prediction in Science). Look at the worksheet attached to our blog to find out more.

Maths

Have a go at the Multiples Quiz – Year 3 on Busy Things (log in using this link Busy Things) which has been set as an assignment, plus log in to your Times Tables Rock Stars (TT Rock Stars) account, go into the Garage area and play for around 10 minutes.

Art

Today, I’d like you to have a go at copying what this artist does. Watch and follow the instructions in this video about perspective Drawing Perspective and copy what he does into your home learning book.

French

Have a go at the Numbers 11-20 on Busy Things (log in using this link Busy Things) which has been set as an assignment – Bonne chance!
