Computers – Coding Last week you completed your tutorial on the basics of coding by giving Beard Man simple instructions. Now you need to use what you’ve learned to complete the next challenge Log onto Busythings/Year 1/Ash/Computing/Busy Code/Code Disco/ Challenge; Dance Steps If you select a code block and you can’t see it to place it under the green ‘when Play pressed’ box, click and drag on the black line at the bottom of the page to move the screen left and right to find the block you need. Mine were all hiding! Keep trying; it is a little tricky – well for me at least! There are 3 buttons to the right of the instruction box. If you get it wrong, click the middle button that looks like a star and you can reset your challenge OR drag the blocks away from the point where you made the mistake, drag the block that is wrong into the bin and add in the block you need. Then join the rest of the blocks back onto the main block of instructions. Have fun! |
