Does the trailer tell you everything that happens in the book? Why not? Does this trailer make you want to read the book?

Go through the Hats PowerPoint. Each sentence begins with ‘I saw a hat once.’ There are lots of describing words, adjectives! On the last slide there are lots of pictures of hats. Write your own sentences for the hats, all beginning ‘I saw a hat once.’ Describe each hat using adjectives. Do as many as you can in the time you have.

*Remember to use a capital letter to begin the sentence with a full stop at the end.
