Good morning Year 2. I hope your first day at home school went well. How did you all get on with your spelling test yesterday? Remember to keep on practising this weeks new spellings for 5 minutes each day so that you're ready for next weeks test.

Tuesday 24th March 2020.

Here are your activities to work through at home today. Remember to use the Home Learning Timetable for guidance. Don't forget to stop for breaks in between each activity and why not see if you can help plan a healthy lunch with your grown up today using the Eatwell plate on our Healthy Living page on the website.

Complete questions 6-10 in your Mathematics Arithmetic SAT’s  booklet and then make up and complete 2 more examples of each in your Home Learning Book.

In your Home Learning Book use the *picture setting, in the attachments below, to write a story. How will it start? What will happen in the middle? Will there be an exciting ending?

Choose the main character from a story book of your choice.

In your Home Learning Book, draw a picture of them and then pretend that you are bringing the character to school. Write some sentences to say what you think might happen.

Complete the *Where I live booklet. (in attachments)

Can you remember how many countries make up the UK? How many continents are in the world? Can you name all the oceans?
