LO: To start to use sentences with different grammatical forms for a particular effect.

Model writing a poster using all the adjectives we collected yesterday to create noun phrases that will form part of a statement.

 

Start with an exclamation, before adding the description and then use a question and finally a command.

Here is an example.

Share the Gospel and talk about the picture. What/who do they see? Use the information/questions as talking/discussion points. Ask a child to lead the prayers where possible to promote pupil led collective worship. Do the activities if there is time.

Lesson 1 – Introduction and

Impressionism

Aim

• To be introduced to 2Paint A Picture.

• To look at the work of Impressionist artists and recreate them using the Impressionism

template.

Success criteria

• Pupils can describe the main features of impressionist art.

• Pupils can use 2Paint a Picture to create their own art based upon this style.

Please look at the impressionist style of art Monet, Degas and Renoir.

Open your 2Do and create a picture in the style of the famous artist.
