Carys got to meet a real deer, just like the one in our story! I am so jealous! She really wanted to see a bear but found a swan and deer instead. What a wonderful outing! Thank you for all your pictures. I will be putting them up on the blog in batches. I am so thankful to your adults for all their amazing work with you.

English - I Want My Hat Back Now that you are so good at telling the story using your story basket characters I would like you to choose three new animals for your own version of the story. Maybe it could be a bird, a mouse and a caterpillar. Remember that the author used different colours for each animal’s part. You will need to think about the animals and a colour you could use for each one. I might use orange for my bird because it is a robin, grey for my mouse and green for my caterpillar. Complete the worksheet to help you think about your three new animal characters. |
