Good morning Year 2,

I hope you are all still staying home and keeping safe. The other day Ms Dhana asked Year 1 to follow a link to the RSPB to listen to the birds singing and see whether they could identify which birds visited their gardens or outside their homes. Well I followed the link and discovered that I had several different varieties of birds visiting my garden. I have also been very lucky this year as a pair of Robins chose my garden to build a nest in, and I now have a whole family of robins hopping around when I’m outside gardening. Why don’t you give it a go and see how many types of birds you have heard?

Using the sheet provided or your Home Learning book, and using all the facts you have read about and learnt about so far, explain how the equipment used by Firefighters back in 1666 and today are different.

Art/DT

Have a look at the * Family flower bouquet handprint activity.

Can you follow the instructions to complete your own piece of art?

If you haven’t got any paint you could draw around each persons hands and cut them out of coloured paper, or even try cutting them out of used and already read newspaper or magazines for a modern look.

Why not ask your grown up to take a photo of you with your bouquet of flowers and email it to ADMIN at school so that we can display them on the website?
