Spelling

Practise your spelling for this week. Complete your 4th attempt today. Log onto Purple Mash and complete the quiz which has been set as a 2Do for you.

English – Tadpole’s Promise – ow phoneme

What sound do the letters ‘ow’ make in the word rainbow? Can you hear the same sound in the word tadpole? Which letters make the same sound? Correct, it is the o-e digraph. Read Tadpole’s Promise all the way through and raise your hand each time you hear the ‘ow’ phoneme in the story.  Divide your page in your book into two columns. In one column write all the words you find with the ‘ow’ as in rainbow sound. In the other column write all the o-e words you found.

Yesterday you learned all about the parts and rooms in a house. Now you can complete this worksheet. Do as much as you can in the time you have.

Topic Work  VE Day Crafting

Make some VE day Bunting. Colour in the different bunting pieces. Your whole family can get involved. Cut them out. Use a hole punch to punch a small hole where the red circles are. Cut a long piece of string and thread this through the holes in the bunting.

Enjoy celebrating VE Day tomorrow with your family and say a prayer for all those who fought in the war.
