It is multi-faith week, and we are learning about Hinduism. For today's lesson, firstly I want you to search 'Mehndi art' and take a look at some of the images. It is a traditional Hindu form of art that is done for weddings and other special celebrations. Identify themes, common patterns, and other similarites. For today's lesson, I want you to trace your hand on a blank piece of paper, and have a go at trying out similar artistic designs as you saw on the internet. Try several if you wish! Just be sure not to draw on yourself ;)
